it's the little things that count... by Enviro Warrior

We may not be able to singularly end wars but we can be nice to the people we meet.

We may not be able to seal the ozone layer on our own, but we can recycle our waste products.

We may not be able to help with local environmental projects, but we can reduce what we add to the local landfill through creative innovation for packaging and secondhand goods; thinking twice before replacing something that is still working because we are bored with it.

We can hold garage sales and fill Salvation Army bins, instead of idly chucking things into the bin.

We may not be able to help every old granny across the road, but we can start by loving and accepting ourselves in a self nuturing way, rather than a self cherishing one.

There are many ways we can bring about health and healing to ourselves and the planet, and ways of doing this facilitated by more and more places each day, if you look beyond what you already know.

Places where tools are available for you to heal and grow and to help the planet rejuvenate whilst you do so. . .

It is funny but the simple little things that you do each day to help save mother earth from your own chunky footprint also makes you feel better too.

*When I stand before thee at the day's end, thou shalt see my scars and know that I had my wounds and also my healing.*
~ Rabindranath Tagore (Nobel Prize for Literature 1913)
